Dining Tables
Dining height is 30 inches, and the number that actually decides the table is the clearance around it. Allow 36 inches from the table edge to the nearest wall so a chair can be pulled out and sat in, and 42 to 48 inches where people walk behind seated diners.
Allow about 24 inches of table edge per person. A 72 inch table seats six comfortably, eight at a squeeze. Every table is made to order, so the length can be set to the room rather than rounded to a standard.
