Made to be lived with
Solid wood moves a little with the seasons and takes the marks of the room it is in. That is the material behaving as it should, not a fault.
A console table built as a tree: two trunk-like legs spread into root forms at the floor, and branches rise above the top to carry two open shelves.
The tabletop runs between the trunks with a softened, irregular front edge. The branch shelves above hold books or small objects, so the piece works where a console and a wall shelf would otherwise both be needed.
Sizes
Every size is 30" high and 12" deep. Stated dimensions describe the tabletop.
Grain and tone vary between pieces, so no two are identical.
